French DJ Martin Solveig, born Martin Picandet, began his musical journey in the church choir and studying classical music. By age 13, he was DJing with his first turntables, and at 18, working in a record store, he immersed himself in electronic music. After contributing the track "Edony" to Africanism in 2001, he released his debut album, Sur la Terre(2002), blending live and electronic sounds with African rhythms. His 2011 album Smash, featuring the hit "Hello" with Dragonette, brought mainstream success and led to a collaboration with Madonna on her MDNA album. Solveig continued to produce chart-toppers, including "Intoxicated" with GTA, "+1" with Sam White, and "All Stars" featuring ALMA.
